For me, it’s more about living with an active conscience.

I have to disagree with you that one person going vegan doesn’t really change anything – most Americans consume 80 animals per year. One person quitting eating meat means that 80 fewer animals are going to suffer. Many people quitting eating meat means that many more animals will be saved – it really does make a difference.
